Magdala welcomes Joseph V. Arnone as our new Chief Financial Officer. A Kansas City native, Joseph brings over 34 years of financial expertise and an unwavering service commitment. When asked why he joined Magdala, he shared, “I accepted the position because of the mission,” embodying the heart of our work.
More than just a financial expert, Joseph’s passion for helping others extends beyond the office. As a dedicated Kansas City Chiefs fan and a deacon in the Catholic Church, he is deeply committed to uplifting those in need. His leadership, rooted in compassion and a heart for the underserved, will be instrumental in furthering Magdala’s mission of dignity and care for all.
With a career spanning the private sector, ownership of a CPA firm, and work in the nonprofit world, Joseph’s experience has taught him that transparency, trust, and teamwork are the foundations of great financial leadership. His dedication to fostering these values will help strengthen the trust between our employees, community, and board, ensuring that Magdala remains a pillar of hope in St. Louis.
Joseph also understands that Magdala’s impact goes beyond numbers—it’s about continuing our long-standing tradition of helping every person live with dignity. His vision of teamwork and service will help us continue this legacy, ensuring we reach the underserved and unserved in our community.
When Joseph isn’t at Magdala, you can find him exploring the best of St. Louis. He’s already indulged in local favorites like Crown Candy and cheered on the Cardinals at Busch Stadium. When he’s not exploring the city, he’s back in Kansas City with his wife, Donna, enjoying time with their two daughters and three grandchildren. There, he splits his time between watching the Chiefs or college football and serving his parishioners in both Kansas City and St. Louis.
With Joseph’s leadership, we are confident that Magdala will continue to thrive in its compassion, dignity, and service mission.
