Magdala House Adult Day Program hosted an Open House on Wednesday, April 10, for caregivers, case managers, and community members who wanted to explore and learn about our tailored services for adults with disabilities. The open house occurred at our day program on 3148 S. Kingshighway, near Tower Grove Park.
Linda James, the program director, highlighted, “Magdala Adult Day Program offers a range of engaging physical and cognitive activities to enhance daily living skills.”
The purpose of the open house was to showcase our spacious and open-concept facility, which included designated areas for activities such as exercise and arts and crafts. Guests were surprised to see comfortable reclining movie chairs, a quiet room for clients to rest, and a wheel-chair accessible shower. Also, guests were amazed to learn that we provide catered lunches daily for our clients. In addition, attendees had the opportunity to observe the attentive and compassionate care provided by our dedicated staff to each client.
