We are thrilled to announce the addition of the Senior Development Officer role to our team at Magdala House. Terra Cole Brown, a highly qualified and enthusiastic professional, has entered this instrumental position. Her arrival marks another exciting chapter in our growth, and we eagerly anticipate the positive impact she will make in her new role.
Terra brings an impressive 25 years of experience to Magdala House. Her diverse background, including a successful stint as an executive director of a non-profit in Oakland, California, has equipped her with a wealth of knowledge and skills to benefit our organization.
“Moving back to St. Louis with my husband and daughter, I was drawn to a position that offered more than just a job,” Terra shared with a contagious enthusiasm. “I was excited about the opportunity to contribute to the development side of an organization like Magdala. My previous role as an executive director sparked a passion for this work, and I am eager to continue refining my skills and acquiring new ones to further my professional growth.”
Terra’s primary goal is to build strong relationships with corporate donors, foundations, volunteers, and community leaders. She wants donors to know that Magdala House is a sound investment, where people graduate to their homes, people with disabilities are intently cared for, funds are allocated to programs, and staff are deeply committed to the well-being of our clients and tenants.
You can help us by contributing to our Give STL Summer Campaign, which ends Sunday, June 30! We are excited to support our unhoused tenants with a community garden in the tiny home community and to continue providing on-site day services for intellectually and developmentally disabled adults. Give a little, help a lot.
