Frank McKinney visited Magdala House’s emergency shelter on June 17, delivering an inspiring message to the residents. Despite a tumultuous youth marked by frequent school changes and juvenile detention, he moved to Florida with just $50 and no further education. Today, Frank is renowned as a “real estate artist,” committed philanthropist– having built 31 self-sustaining villages in Haiti benefiting over 14,000 people– and best-selling author, actor, and speaker.
Frank shared his story of overcoming challenges during his youth, which served as a powerful example of resilience and the possibility of transformation for our Biddle House residents. He highlighted the importance of having dreams and aspirations and the value of taking proactive steps toward improvement.
Thanks to our Biddle House residents for listening, sharing your experiences and engaging with Frank. Thank you, Frank, for sharing your message of hope and your kind donation. We consider you a friend of Magdala House.
