The Adult Day Care assists clients Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., through social and physical activities, nutritional lunches, daily exercises, music and therapeutic art.
Day Care is a critical complementary component to Magdala’s Group Homes and Independent Support Living (ISL) programs.
Magdala’s Adult Day Care is a reliable source for those seeking on-site day services for adults who are intellectually and developmentally disabled.
Our focus is on personal skills and assisting our clients in becoming independent in day-to-day non-vocational activities. It gives our clients opportunities for more choices in their daily lives.
Our program caters to the cognitive and physical development of the clients. We provide a community that fosters inclusion, social stimulation, positive well-being and daily activities.
The Adult Day Care helps adults acquire knowledge in the following areas:
Volunteer, semi-employment, and employment settings.
Utilizing their abilities in the community.
